Bought a 2384 in because the steering wheel is coming apart and I’d read on other sites that people have been taking theirs in and had them changed on the Warranty so I went down there and she took it in the back and they looked at it and she come back out, said it wasn’t covered because it was coming apart with the stitching is where it stitched around the wheel so I already told her I had a thing at home for Rick for the steering wheel that came from Volkswagen, but I went home that same day and called Volkswagen and the next day I get a call from her and she says oh we can fix your steering wheel and I said what you told me you couldn’t fix it. She says I took pictures and sent it to him. She didn’t tell me that she just told me she couldn’t fix. They couldn’t fix it on the warranty, so Volkswagen had called and talk to him and now After Volkswagen talk to him now they tell me to come in they can change my steering wheel and this ain’t the first time I had rejection like that the other time was, I took it back for the handles door handles for the second time and software update and I told her had a yellow diamond on my dash well she told me you might wanna take it to the Volkswagen dealer and let them do the recalls too so I took it to Midland and I knew what was wrong with it. It was the 12 V charger wasn’t working so I had to wait three weeks then to get the charger in to fix it, but this like my second time of not being happy with my service I love my ID for, but sometimes the service is sketchy

Thank you for the feedback. You are correct. We did initially state that your repairs would be an out-of-pocket expense due to the specific language in the warranty extension. As you mentioned, we did forward your diagnostic findings to our regional corporate contacts who subsequently approved the warranty repair. We also requested that VWGoA revise the warranty language to include your specific issue.
