    Quality of service from technician was good. Some confusion and stress over the price from the VW tire store site for tires and installation vs what was quoted by the service advisor. Service advisor stated installation would be another $120 on top of the installed price from the tire store site. But it worked out in the end and price was honored. Ended up being a little cheaper actually.

    The Team at McDaniels have been very friendly but the process has been a bit frustrating. I felt like we negotiated a great deal and the team moved quickly to earn my business. There were some calculation errors (that I had to point out - forgot to include the $2500 rebate) at the time of purchase that required me to cancel a cashiers check and secure a second one (this is the first dealership that has not accepted a personal check). After the transaction was complete I was contacted that I owed more that $900 additional. $500 in the SC tax that I previously confirmed was not owed due to it being registered in CO. I was also told I had to have a VIN verification completed before they would send the registration paperwork because I am a CO resident and the vehicle is being registered in CO. I was asked to prove that I did not have to do that. I sent all documentation which is easily accessed online. The team has been friendly and fairly responsive, but it has been over 2 weeks and I don't even know if the registration paperwork is complete. I purchased a 2024 Tiguan from Bachman VW in Louisville on Monday (I wrote them a check and and all paperwork is already confirmed done and sent to my DMW with no follow up needed). This was a similar out of state process with no hassle or confusion. I purchase new autos regularly and am residing in Columbia for the next 8 months and will likely have more purchase needs. I appreciate the opportunity to share some feedback and again want to reiterate the people great but the process has been the worst I have ever experienced.
